Incredible Hulk Comics

The Incredible Hulk comic books (The Hulk) feature the transformation of Dr. Bruce Banner into a "hulking" giant, muscle-bound creature.  The incredible Hulk was created by the great  Stan Lee and Jack Kirby and he first appeared in The Incredible Hulk comic book, issues #1, published in 1962.  Of course, the comic series is published by Marvel Comics.

Dr Bruce Banner is exposed to gamma radiation from a bomb test.  The radiation allows mid mannered Bruce to turn into the near limitless powerful being who is The Hulk.  The Hulk has appeared in several colors but is mostly known for his green coloring. The Hulk has appeared in Defender comics, team-ups with many notable super-heroes and in more modern titles including World War Hulk and Planet Hulk.
