Daredevil Comics

 The Daredevil character and comic book series was created by Stan Lee,  Bill Everett and Jack Kirby and first published by Marvel Comics in 1964.  He first appears in Daredevil #1.

Daredevil is Mathew Murdock, who when living in New York City, is blinded by a radioactive substance.  Although he loses his sight, Daredevil emerges with super human powers.  Daredevil continues through present time and has introduced several notable characters including Elektra, his former girlfriend and arch-rival Kingpin, Bullseye and Black Widow..  Late bronze era period saw Frank Miller created art and later story lines for the series.  Daredevil has alos appeared in several team-ups including The Defenders, Marvel Knights and S.H.E.I.L.D..
