Avengers Comics

The Avengers comic book super hero team  was created by Marvel Comics in 1963.  "Earth's Mightiest Heroes" were created by the famed comic greats Jack Kirby and Stan Lee.  First appearance was in The Avengers #1 published September, 1963.

The original Avengers comic team include The Hulk, Iron Man, Thor Ant-Man and Wasp.  Within a few issues, Captain America joined the group.  The Avengers continues to this day with enduring popularity.   Related issues include The West Coast Avengers, New Avengers, Mighty Avengers, Dark Avengers and many other spin-off titles.  Avengers titles continue to be some of the most collectible comic books.
